At present, I have a swollen leg, so cannot wear my lovely Barefoot shoes for a while!! However, I did manage to try them on before my leg infection and found them amazingly comfortably. They are the first pair of shoes that I have worn (indoors) for many years, apart from dance shoes. These are super comfy and warm, my feet have been dry and cozy in the winter weather. The toe box is lovely and wide so your toes never feel squashed or like they might rub, even for someone with broad feet! I really like the toggle fasteners - quick, easy, no hassle and no soggy laces in the rain also ideal if you have issues with your hands as they are not fiddly. Loving the flexibility in the soles and how you walk in these too, as someone with hyper mobility being able to feel the ground a little better in lightweight shoes has honestly been a game changer. Shoes are true to size too.

The shoes are immediately very comfortable - no 'having to wear them in a bit first'; I like having plenty of room for my toes to spread. They also keep my feet warm and dry.
The included insoles are a really good feature: although the shoes are the correct size for my feet, there's still a bit of room above each foot, so the insoles now make my feet feel that bit snugger.

More awareness of the ground you are walking on, but in a positive way. How it would be on more demanding terrain, not sure, but normal day to day walking not a problem...in fact a pleasure.

Very warm and comfortable - I just feel like I'm wearing flippers because of the wide toes! I also dislike the marking of individual toes, which makes the boots look a bit weird.

Lovely comfortable sure footed shoes. Never slippy slidey. Feels like I am walking around the house instead of the street. Also very easy to just step into. Already my favourite shoes. Oh yes and when wet they never stay wet for long because that are so light and breathable. I take them off damp and they are all dry next time I put them on. Really a remarkable design.

They look good and they are a comfortable fit BUT I wore them to take my dog for a short walk, pavements looked dry and I was just starting to think how cosy and super they were but, as I started to cross the mowed playing field (very short grass, barely damp) my feet were quickly soaked. I might as well have gone in socks so, very sadly, I have to say I am very, very disappointed, especially as I asked for the extra waterproofing.
So my search begins again.

I love my boots!
Unfortunately I used an old haberdashery tape measure that must have stretched over time so when ordering I went by the wrong measurements. As a result my boots are larger than I would have liked.
However, they are vegan ( very important) and take the pressure off a painful bunion so I'm very pleased with them.

I've had these shoes for a couple of weeks only. Find them comfortable and astonishingly warm. Kept my feet dry so far, though they haven't had to deal with anything more than wet grass.
There's plenty of room for my toes, which is what I wanted.
After only a short time it's impossible to say how durable they are.
They have elasticated laces and the free end flaps around when you tighten them. I can see this system might appeal to children, but I'd prefer more conventional laces.
Bought a pair of Arctic Pro 3.0 shoes at the same time: very similar. I thought the only difference would be how far they go up your leg, but the Arctic Pro seems to be a subtly different shape with very slightly less toe room, so you might want to take that into account.

These boots are really comfortable - but don't be inclined to size up - my first pair were size 40 eu which I usually take but were too long so the 39 is perfect - could even have gone to a 38 - having said that someone else loves the 40 so both of us are happy - love my pink boots

Very easy to clean with a damp cloth wipe . Sole not so easy to clean however, after any mud has dryed, even with a stiff brush. All in all I would definitely buy them again.

I didn't like these shoes when they arrived because I thought they were ugly and made my feet look Shrek-like. However, I put vanity to one side because they're used for dog walks, not the cat walk. I've been wearing them regularly for two weeks, and I'm thinking of buying more. I really like the sensation of walking 'barefoot.' My feet can flex and stretch, and I'm able to walk over stony, muddy, grassy terrain with absolutely no discomfort, and no feeling that I'm going to slip; in fact it's been a long time since I've felt so sure of my balance. Walking uphill/downhill has been so much easier and I've been able to correct the way I walk in terms of how I place my feet so that my weight is spread evenly. My feet are kept warm and comfortable, and the shoes are easy to care for. Communication from Naturcontact has been excellent; an email I sent was answered within hours of sending it (thank you Sarah), and I was kept up to date with delivery times. I look forward to my next pair; I think I will be replacing all my walking shoes with Naturcontact ones.

I’m not sure I like the look on my feet. They seem comfortable although I haven’t properly tested them . Also it feels like my feet are not protected on the inner side . The lace which tightens is effective but is long and sticks out quite a lot. I have difficulty tucking it in securely. Easy ordering and delivery arrived earlier than expected so a nice surprise. Well packed and with a shoe bag too very handy. I also like the aromatherapy sachets. Shoes are fantastic easy to wear and very comfortable definitely needed the insoles as they are a little on the big side without and I still have room to wear socks on really cold days. Very relaxed look and style so not for formal dress days
